Located approximately 5 miles north of the town of Woodstock and Blenheim Palace, Ash Cottage is part of the Barton Estate and can be reached via a private driveway off the A4260.
Coming from Banbury: Drive onto the A4260 and we are a mile south of the Hopscroft Holt crossroads. Go through the traffic lights towards Kidlington direction and our driveway is a mile on from this on the right-hand side. It is a very difficult entrance to spot, so please slow down if it’s your first time visiting.
Coming from Oxford: Drive onto the A4260 go through Kidlington and on for approximately 5 miles. You will pass Sturdy’s Castle pub on the left, keep going for a further 2 miles, pass the turnings to Wootton and End Barn Farm and a little further on the left you will see a deer hazard sign, our driveway is 100 yards on from this.
There is a white post and ‘no HGV’ signage at the top of the entrance. Ash Cottage is located half a mile down the drive, second cottage on the left. Please park either on the verge close to the stone barn wall on the right or in the space to the right of the black Lexus. The entrance to Ash Cottage is down the left side of the house, marked by a named post box on the front gate.
