As I work on a bespoke basis, every treatment experience is unique to each individual person. I now offer booking therapy time, rather than specific treatments, this allows for a very personal tailor-made therapy journey and clients can expect to experience some or all of the following modalities depending on their requirements:
Sound healing, massage, face therapies, acupressure, shiatsu, reflexology, hot stone therapy, lymphatic work, reiki and craniosacral therapy.
30 minutes – £40:00
60 minutes – £65:00
90 minutes – £95:00
120 minutes – £125:00
There are only a few spaces left in December before I close for the Christmas break, so please do get in touch if you want to book some deeply relaxing and healing downtime!
Adding different experiences to my therapies is very important to me, as I believe that to engage as many senses as possible throughout a treatment ritual, lifts it from a ‘nice’ treatment to something other-wordly. I want to offer an experiential journey that is remembered long after the treatment has finished, one that encompasses as much holistic expression as possible. Using sound therapy helps to facilitate shifts in our brainwave state from beta (normal waking consciousness) to alpha (relaxed consciousness) and even reach theta (mediative state) and delta (sleep: where internal healing can occur).
Sound helps create the pathway to this place of stillness the same as a mantra helps you to arrive at the still point of meditation. Various tools used for sound therapy include the voice, drums, Himalayan or Crystal Singing Bowls, tuning forks or Koshi Bells.
The Koshi bell or chime is my tool of choice. Crafted in a workshop at the foot of the Pyrenean mountains, eight chords are welded with silver at the base of a resonance tube made of bamboo, a material renowned for its acoustic quality, the Koshi chime is deep in sound and rich in overtones. There are four melodies, Terra (earth), Aqua (water), Aria (air) and Ignis (fire). I have chosen Aria, or air as I enjoyed this sound the most, and I use it either at the beginning or conclusion of each bespoke treatment.
Last month, I was delighted to offer my wellbeing treatments within a very special yoga retreat, run by Jeff and Jennie Phenix, both super experienced yoga teachers who offer classes, workshops and residential retreats both in London, throughout the UK and overseas.http://jeffphenixyoga.com
After such a wonderful weekend with amazing feedback from some very special yogis, I will be taking bookings for the next planned Spring retreat in April. I offer a mix of my bespoke massage therapy, wellbeing face treatments and reflexology, using a beautiful selection of the best skincare and essential oils. Boutique Wellbeing at Ash Cottage is just 5 miles from the beautiful town of Woodstock, located in the heart of the Cotswolds. A rural retreat that offers bespoke natural therapies, a perfectly unique and indulgent gift for Christmas or any special occasion.
Reflexology is a wonderful therapy. It feels profoundly relaxing and, when used in the right way, can help the body recover from a wide range of conditions.
It is one of the oldest forms of complementary therapy with roots in ancient Eygpt, China & India. It is based on the theory that there are micro-systems on the feet, hands and face that connect to all aspects of our bodies. By massaging specific points on the feet, hands or face, one can affect corresponding parts of the body. Amazing!
A Reflexologist feels for areas of sensitivity or deposits on the feet, hands or face that indicate potential weaknesses and causes of problems in the body. By massaging through these areas, it is possible to help the body recover.
To celebrate ‘World Reflexology Week’ I am offering a course of 4 Reflexology treatments for the price of 3! The sessions should ideally be taken once a week and full payment for the full course of treatments (£120, saving of £40) is due upon initially booking. Please get in touch if you are interested as spaces are limited!
